DataType

The Data Type property determines how the bits of a signal in a frame must be interpreted to build a value.

• Signed: Signed integer with positive and negative values.
• Unsigned: Unsigned integer with no negative values.
• IEEE Float: Float value with 7 or 15 significant decimal digits (32 bit or 64 bit).
• Byte Array: Signal ˃ 64 bit. This can be accessed only using conversion sessions. Refer to the XNET Convert node.
