Last Modified: October 24, 2017

Configures the appearance and attributes of a window.

connector_pane_image
datatype_icon

window number

Image window to configure.

The window is identified by a number from 0 to 15. Specify a value of 15 to configure the video out port on a Real-Time system.

Default: 0

datatype_icon

window can grow?

Boolean value that specifies the capability for the user to resize the image window.

True User can resize the window
False Window cannot be resized

Default: TRUE

datatype_icon

window can close?

Boolean value that specifies the visibility of the close box of the window.

True Show the close box
False Hide the close box

Default: TRUE

datatype_icon

window has title bar?

Boolean value that specifies the visibility of the title bar.

True Show title bar
False Hide title bar

Default: TRUE

datatype_icon

error in

Error conditions that occur before this node runs.

The node responds to this input according to standard error behavior.

Standard Error Behavior

Many nodes provide an error in input and an error out output so that the node can respond to and communicate errors that occur while code is running. The value of error in specifies whether an error occurred before the node runs. Most nodes respond to values of error in in a standard, predictable way.

error in does not contain an error error in contains an error
If no error occurred before the node runs, the node begins execution normally.

If no error occurs while the node runs, it returns no error. If an error does occur while the node runs, it returns that error information as error out.

If an error occurred before the node runs, the node does not execute. Instead, it returns the error in value as error out.

Default: No error

datatype_icon

window is floating?

Boolean value that specifies whether to use a standard window or a floating (always on top) window.

True Use a floating window
False Use a standard window

Default: FALSE

datatype_icon

scrollbars

Presence of scrollbars in a window.

You can either force scrollbars to be hidden, force them to be shown, or use the current window scrollbar settings.

datatype_icon

error out

Error information.

The node produces this output according to standard error behavior.

Web Server: Not supported in VIs that run in a web application
