Color Image to Array (G Dataflow)

Last Modified: March 26, 2019

Extracts the pixels from a color image or from part of a color image into a 2D array.

This node returns the values as a 2D array of either unsigned 32-bit integers or clusters of four unsigned 16-bit integers, depending on the bit depth of image. You can convert a 2D array of unsigned 32-bit integers into a 2D array of clusters coding the three color values as either (R, G, B), (H, S, L), (H, S, V), or (H, S, I) using the Integer To Color Value node.

datatype_icon

image in

Reference to the source image.

datatype_icon

optional rectangle

Four-element array that contains the left, top, right, and bottom coordinates of the region to process.

The right and bottom values are exclusive and lie outside the region. The node applies the operation to the entire image if optional rectangle is empty or not connected.

datatype_icon

error in

Error conditions that occur before this node runs.

The node responds to this input according to standard error behavior.

Standard Error Behavior

Many nodes provide an error in input and an error out output so that the node can respond to and communicate errors that occur while code is running. The value of error in specifies whether an error occurred before the node runs. Most nodes respond to values of error in in a standard, predictable way.

error in does not contain an error error in contains an error
If no error occurred before the node runs, the node begins execution normally.

If no error occurs while the node runs, it returns no error. If an error does occur while the node runs, it returns that error information as error out.

If an error occurred before the node runs, the node does not execute. Instead, it returns the error in value as error out.

Default: No error

datatype_icon

image out

Reference to the destination image.

If image dst is connected, image dst out is the same as image dst. Otherwise, image dst out refers to the image referenced by image src.

datatype_icon

U32 pixel values

Pixel values as a 2D array of unsigned 32-bit integers.

datatype_icon

U64 pixel values

Pixel values as a cluster of four unsigned 16-bit integers.

datatype_icon

Plane 1 (Red)

Value of the red plane.

datatype_icon

Plane 2 (Green)

Value of the green plane.

datatype_icon

Plane 3 (Blue)

Value of the blue plane.

datatype_icon

Plane 4 (alpha)

Value of the alpha plane.

datatype_icon

error out

Error information.

The node produces this output according to standard error behavior.
