Dependency Properties

Select a package dependency in the Packages pane to edit its properties. The pane grays out read-only properties.

Property Details
Name The name of the dependency (read-only).
Package name The package name of the dependency (read-only).
Relationship The relationship a depending package has on the dependency.
Constraint An optional constraint to specify the dependency relationship.
Version Type How to determine versions specified by the constraint:
  • AutoUpdate—Package Builder will automatically update the version of the dependency by either using the version last built by the solution, the version installed on the building system, or by finding it in Package Manager.
  • Custom—The version specified in the Version property.
Version The version specified by the Version Type constraint when set to Custom.
