Synchronizing cDAQ Chassis and FieldDAQ Devices

If you have multiple devices that support the IEEE 802.1AS standard, you can use Start Trigger synchronization to trigger at a specific time. These devices must either be connected through a daisy chain or a switch that supports IEEE 802.1AS.

Note

If the devices are connected to the network through a real-time host, you must discover these devices in MAX through the real-time host. Refer to the MAX Help for NI-DAQmx for more information on how to discover devices remotely.
