Calculates the mean and variance of a gamma-distributed variate.
The gamma distribution includes the chi-squared, Erlang, and exponential distributions as special cases. The gamma variate with an integer shape parameter is known as the Erlang variate. The value of the gamma shape parameter can be other than integers.
Scale parameter of the random variable.
This input must be greater than 0.
Default: 1
Shape parameter of the random variable.
This input must be greater than 0.
Default: 1
Error conditions that occur before this node runs.
The node responds to this input according to standard error behavior.
Standard Error Behavior
Many nodes provide an error in input and an error out output so that the node can respond to and communicate errors that occur while code is running. The value of error in specifies whether an error occurred before the node runs. Most nodes respond to values of error in in a standard, predictable way.
Default: No error
Expected mean of the random variable.
Expected variance of the random variable.
Error information.
The node produces this output according to standard error behavior.

This node uses the following equations to calculate the mean and variance of a gamma-distributed variate.
where b is the scale parameter of the random variable and c is the shape parameter of the random variable.
