Configure PDM Trigger VI

Sets the trigger for the task. The trigger initiates the acquisition or generation process for the set of channels specified in the task.

Configure PDM Trigger (Digital Edge) VI

Sets the trigger for the task to one of the PXI trigger lines. The trigger initiates the acquisition process for the set of channels specified in the task.

remove filter delay samples specifies whether to remove PCM decimation filter delay samples. The default is TRUE, which means samples related to the PCM decimation filter delay are automatically removed before the VI returns data. If remove filter delay samples is FALSE, the PCM decimation filter delay samples will not be removed from the acquired data.

PDM input task in specifies the reference to the PDM input task.

trigger configuration specifies settings for the trigger.

source specifies the source of the trigger for the operation of the channels. The trigger sources are PXI channels 0-7. The default is PXI_Trig0.

polarity specifies on which edge the trigger occurs.

0 Rising Edge (default)—The trigger occurs on a rising edge.
1 Falling Edge—The trigger occurs on the falling edge.

delays specifies the number of samples before or after the trigger to start returning data. Use these values to remove samples related to propagation delays within the system. If remove filter delay samples is TRUE, these delay samples will be in addition to the input filter delay samples.

PDM pre-trigger delay specifies the number of PDM samples to acquire before the trigger. PDM pre-trigger delay affects the number of PCM samples to acquire before the trigger. The ratio between the number of PDM samples divided by the number of PCM samples is equal to the decimation factor. The default is 0.

PDM post-trigger delay specifies the number of PDM samples to acquire after the trigger. The default is 0.

PCM post-trigger delay specifies the number of PCM samples to acquire after the trigger. The default is 0.

error in describes error conditions that occur before this node runs. This input provides standard error in functionality.

PDM input task out returns the reference to the PDM input task.

error out contains error information. This output provides standard error out functionality.

Configure PDM Trigger (None) VI

Configures the PDM input task to start acquiring samples immediately upon starting the task.

remove filter delay samples specifies whether to remove PCM decimation filter delay samples. The default is TRUE, which means samples related to the PCM decimation filter delay are automatically removed before the VI returns data. If remove filter delay samples is FALSE, the PCM decimation filter delay samples will not be removed from the acquired data.

Sets the trigger for the PDM output task to one of the PXI trigger lines. The trigger initiates the generation process for the set of channels specified in the task.

PDM output task in specifies the reference to the PDM output task.
