(ECUTS-16001) Replacing the PXI-4112 Auxiliary Power Supplies

    Equipment

    • #2 Phillips screwdriver
    • Flathead screwdriver
    • Scissors/blade
    • Zip ties
    1. Power off the ECUTS-16001.
    2. Verify there is not an ITA or FDT connected to the ECUTS-16001.
    3. Turn the four quarter-turn locks on the left panel of the test rack using the flathead screwdriver.
    4. Remove the left panel of the test rack.
    5. Identify which PXI chassis is populated with the PXIe-4112 whose auxiliary power supply requires replacement.
    6. Refer to Replacing PXI Instrumentation to access the appropriate PXI chassis.
    7. Disconnect the output connectors from the PXIe-4112.
    8. Remove the auxiliary power input connector from the PXIe-4112.
    9. Remove the AC power cable from the auxiliary power supply.
    10. While supporting the auxiliary power supply, remove the bracket beneath the auxiliary power supply by unscrewing the screw with the #2 Phillips screwdriver.
    11. Remove the auxiliary power supply from the bracket by sliding it downwards.
    12. Slide the replacement auxiliary power supply into the bracket.
    13. Replace the support bracket using the screw and #2 Phillips screwdriver.
    14. Connect the AC power cable to the auxiliary power supply.
    15. Connect the auxiliary power input connector to the PXIe-4112.
    16. Connect the output connectors to the PXIe-4112.
    17. Replace the removed filler panels and monitor if necessary.
    18. Screw in the four filler panel screws on each filler panel using the #2 Phillips screwdriver.
    19. Sit the left panel back into the test rack.
    20. Turn the four quarter-turn locks on the right panel of the test rack using the flathead screwdriver.
