The most common customizations to result processing involve modifying the configuration of the existing report generator or database logger. You typically use the Report Options or Database Options dialog boxes to implement these changes. TestStand 2010 or earlier saves these configuration changes to disk in the TestStandModelReportOptions.ini and TestStandDatabaseOptions.ini files, respectively. TestStand 2012 or later stores the configuration data for all result processing in a single ResultProcessing.cfg configuration file.

Use the TestStand Migration Utility to migrate configuration data in the .ini files of previous versions of TestStand to the TestStand 2012 or later .cfg file. You can also use the utility to migrate result processing settings from TestStand 2010 or later to TestStand 2012. If you are migrating from a version of TestStand earlier than TestStand 2010, you must manually migrate the result processing settings.
