Wait Operation (IVI Switching Mode)

The Wait operation can wait for debounce or wait for completion of a scan. The Wait operation contains the following options:

• Wait Type —Specifies whether to wait for debounce or wait for completion of a scan.

  Supported Value	Description
  Wait for Debounce (0)	Waits until all the signals flowing through the switch have settled.
  Wait for Scan Complete (1)	Waits until the instrument stops scanning through the scan list. This value applies only to the IVI Switching mode.

• Max Time (ms) —The number of milliseconds the switch module waits for a successful debounce or completion of a scan. You specify the maximum length of time to wait, in milliseconds. When the specified time elapses, the operation returns a timeout error.
