SVPO Average FFT Spectrum (Complex) VI

Owning Palette: Spectrum Extended Measurements VIs

Converts a frequency power spectrum to an order power spectrum. Use this VI to convert power spectrum results from constant-speed applications.

SVPO RMS Average Power Spectrum (Complex) (1 Ch).vi

complex spectrum [EU rms] specifies the complex form of the spectrum. Complex spectra can be converted to magnitude and phase components.
complex spectrum response specifies the complex form of the computed spectrum for the response channel.
f0 specifies the start frequency, in hertz, of the spectrum.
df specifies the frequency resolution, in hertz, of the spectrum.
complex spectrum specifies the complex form of the computed spectrum.
spectrum info specifies the properties of the previously computed spectrum.
Note  You must wire spectrum info when performing extended measurements. Do not modify the spectrum info values. If you want to view the information, you can unbundle and right-click the spectrum info wire and select Custom Probe»Spectrum Info from the shortcut menu.
weighting mode specifies the weighting mode for averaging. This option is available only when averaging mode is RMS averaging.

0Exponential (default)—Emphasizes more on new spectral data than on old spectral data by adding more weights to the new spectral data.
1Linear—Combines N spectral records with equal weighting.
restart averaging specifies if the selected averaging process has to be restarted. The default is FALSE. When you call this VI for the first time, the averaging process restarts automatically.
average power spectrum [EU^2 rms] returns the calculated average power spectrum.
f0 returns the start frequency, in hertz, of the spectrum.
df returns the frequency resolution, in hertz, of the spectrum.
magnitude returns the magnitude of the spectrum.
spectrum info returns information about the spectrum needed by the Spectrum Extended Measurements VIs, the Display VIs, and the Tone and Distortion VIs.
Note  You must wire spectrum info when performing extended measurements. Do not modify the spectrum info values. If you want to view the information, you can right-click the spectrum info wire and select Custom Probe»Spectrum Info from the shortcut menu.
averages completed out returns the number of averages completed by the VI at that time.

SVPO RMS Average Power Spectrum (Complex) (N Ch)
