Transient Spectra Controls
Owning Palette: Sound & Vibration Controls
Requires: Sound and Vibration Measurement Suite
Use the Transient Spectra indicators with the Transient Analysis VIs to display multiple spectra on the same graph. Waterfall graphs, colormaps, and intensity graphs are useful to illustrate the frequency content of time-varying signals. These indicators require constant bandwidth (linear frequency spacing) spectra, such as the spectra returned by the Frequency Analysis VIs and the Order Power Spectrum VI. Customize the standard LabVIEW Waveform Graph to display a single spectrum or multiple spectra on a traditional 2D graph.
Palette Object | Description |
---|---|
Colormap | Displays results of transient analysis or order analysis on a customizable intensity graph with a rainbow color scale. You can display these 3D results using colors to represent the third dimension. You also can add frequency or order lines to indicate locations of specific frequencies or order components on the colormap. |
SV Intensity Graph | Displays results of transient analysis or order analysis on an intensity graph with a rainbow color scale. You can display these 3D results using colors to code for the third dimension. |
Waterfall Graph | Displays two-dimensional waveform signals or spectra in a three-dimensional plane to illustrate time-varying signals. |
