Owning Palette: Display VIs
Use the Machine Vibration VIs to measure dynamic and averaged vibration of machine components, such as a rotating shaft. Use the VIs to display machine vibration signals on a Bode plot, polar plot, orbit plot, timebase plot, or shaft centerline plot.
The VIs on this palette can return general LabVIEW error codes or specific sound and vibration error codes.
Palette Object | Description |

SVX Buffer Orbit Timebase Plot | Buffers orbit or timebase plot data and returns the buffered data. This VI requires continuous input data. The buffered data might have gaps between or overlap with previous buffers. Do not use the buffered data for limit testing or data logging. |
SVX Buffer Polar Plot | Buffers polar plot data according to different buffer modes. This VI requires continuous input data. The buffered data might have gaps between or overlap with previous buffers. Do not use the buffered data for limit testing or data logging. |
SVX Buffer Shaft Centerline Plot | Buffers shaft centerline plot data according to different buffer modes. This VI requires continuous input data. The buffered data might have gaps between or overlap with previous buffers. Do not use the buffered data for limit testing or data logging. |
SVX Combine Filtered and Unfiltered Plots | Combines filtered and unfiltered orbit plots or timebase plots into a single plot. Use this VI to see the relationship between the unfiltered signal and the signal filtered by significant orders. |
SVX Orbit and Timebase Plot | Prepares unfiltered or filtered orbit plot data or timebase plot data for displaying on an Orbit Plot or Timebase Plot. Use this VI to prepare magnitude and phase data for entry into an orbit or timebase plot. Wire data to the even-angle signals input to determine the polymorphic instance to use or manually select the instance. |
SVX Polar Plot | Prepares polar plot data for displaying on a Polar Plot. Use this VI to show magnitude versus phase for a specific order. Wire data to the magnitudes [RMS] and phases [phase lag] inputs to determine the polymorphic instance to use or manually select the instance. |
SVX Shaft Centerline Plot | Prepares shaft centerline plot data for displaying on a Shaft Centerline Plot. A shaft centerline plot displays the averaged positions of the shaft center. Use this VI to measure the movement of the shaft center over time. |
