Rear Transition Interfaces (RTIs)

  1. OBSERVATION: RTIs designed for fully compatible rear I/O are generally compliant with this signal banking specification, except that auxiliary and reference signals are shorted together. This may change in future versions. Refer to Handling Aux Signals and the Rear Transition Interface Design Specifications for more details.
  2. RECOMMENDATION: Where possible, use RTIs with ix Industrial connectors, such as the RTI-12309. These are compatible with the newer standardized cables from NI.
