Fetches the stream RMS EVM results.
Use "segment(n)/stream(k)" as the selector string to read results from this method.

Syntax

Namespace: NationalInstruments.RFmx.WlanMX

public int FetchStreamRmsEvm(string selectorString, double timeout, out double streamRmsEvmMean, out double streamDataRmsEvmMean, out double streamPilotRmsEvmMean)

Parameters

NameTypeDescription
selectorStringstring

Specifies a selector string comprising of the result name, segment number, and stream number. If you do not specify the result name, the default result instance is used. Example:
"segment0/stream0"
"result::r1/segment0/stream0"
You can use the BuildStreamString(string, int) method to build the selector string.

timeoutdouble

Specifies the timeout for fetching the specified measurement. Set this value to an appropriate time, longer than expected for fetching the measurement. A value of -1 specifies that the method waits until the measurement is complete. This value is expressed in seconds.

streamRmsEvmMeanout double

Upon return, contains the stream RMS EVM of all subcarriers in all OFDM symbols. When you set the SetAveragingEnabled(string, RFmxWlanMXOfdmModAccAveragingEnabled) method to True , this parameter returns the mean of stream RMS EVM results computed for each averaging count. This value is expressed as a percentage or in dB.

streamDataRmsEvmMeanout double

Upon return, contains the stream RMS EVM of data subcarriers in all OFDM symbols. When you set the OFDMModAccAveragingEnabled method to True , this parameter returns the mean of data stream RMS EVM results computed for each averaging count. This value is expressed as a percentage or in dB.

streamPilotRmsEvmMeanout double

Upon return, contains the stream RMS EVM of pilot subcarriers in all OFDM symbols. When you set the OFDMModAccAveragingEnabled method to True , this parameter returns the mean of pilot stream RMS EVM results computed for each averaging count. This value is expressed as a percentage or in dB.

Returns

Returns the status code of this method. The status code either indicates success or describes a warning condition.
