Creates selector string specifying the measurement memory name for use with the get functions.

Syntax

int32 __stdcall RFmxVNA_BuildMeasurementMemoryString(char selectorString[], int32 selectorStringOutLength, char selectorStringOut[], char measurementMemoryName)

Parameters

selectorString[in]char

This parameter specifies a Selector String comprising of the signal name. If you do not specify the signal name, the default signal instance is used. The default value is "" (empty string).

Example:

You can use the RFmxVNA_BuildSignalString function to build the selector string.

selectorStringOutLength[out]int32

Specifies the length of the string that is returned by the selectorStringOut parameter. To get the minimum buffer size required to build the selector string, set the selectorStringOutLength parameter to 0.

selectorStringOut[out]char

This parameter returns the selector string created by this function.

measurementMemoryName[in]char

This parameter Measurement Memory Name specifies the name to associate with the data you load to the measurement memory. Provide a unique name.

Returns

Returns the status code of this operation. The status code either indicates success or describes an error or warning condition. Examine the status code from each call to an RFmx function to determine if an error has occurred.

To obtain a text description of the status code and additional information about the error condition, call the RFmxVNA_GetError function.
