Configures the threshold level for the samples that are considered for the DPD measurement when you set the RFMXSPECAN_ATTR_DPD_MODEL attribute to Lookup Table. Set the Threshold Enabled parameter to True to reject low-power signals affected by noise and distortion.

Syntax

int32 __stdcall RFmxSpecAn_DPDCfgLookupTableThreshold(niRFmxInstrHandle instrumentHandle, char selectorString[], int32 thresholdEnabled, float64 thresholdLevel, int32 thresholdType)

Parameters

NameDirectionTypeDescription
instrumentHandle[in]niRFmxInstrHandle

This parameter specifies the RFmx session refnum. Instrument Handle In is obtained from the RFmxInstr_Initialize function.

selectorString[in]char

This parameter specifies a Selector String comprising of the signal name. If you do not specify the signal name, the default signal instance is used. The default value is "" (empty string).
Example:
""
"signal::sig1"
You can use the RFmxSpecAn_BuildSignalString function to build the selector string.

thresholdEnabled[in]int32

This parameter specifies whether to enable thresholding of the acquired samples to be used for the measurement. The default value is False.

Name

Value

Description

RFMXSPECAN_VAL_DPD_LOOKUP_TABLE_THRESHOLD_ENABLED_FALSE

0 (0x0)

All samples are considered for the DPD measurement.

RFMXSPECAN_VAL_DPD_LOOKUP_TABLE_THRESHOLD_ENABLED_TRUE

1 (0x1)

Only samples above the threshold level which you specify in the RFMXSPECAN_ATTR_DPD_LOOKUP_TABLE_THRESHOLD_LEVEL attribute are considered for the DPD measurement.

thresholdLevel[in]float64

This parameter specifies either the relative or absolute threshold power level based on the value of the Threshold Type parameter. The default value is -20 dB.

thresholdType[in]int32

This parameter specifies the reference for the power level used for thresholding. The default value is Relative.

Name

Value

Description

RFMXSPECAN_VAL_DPD_LOOKUP_TABLE_THRESHOLD_TYPE_RELATIVE

0 (0x0)

The threshold is relative to the peak power of the acquired samples.

RFMXSPECAN_VAL_DPD_LOOKUP_TABLE_THRESHOLD_TYPE_ABSOLUTE

1 (0x1)

The threshold is the absolute power, in dBm.

Returns

Returns the status code of this operation. The status code either indicates success or describes an error or warning condition. Examine the status code from each call to an RFmx function to determine if an error has occurred.

To obtain a text description of the status code and additional information about the error condition, call the RFmxSpecAn_GetError function.

The general meaning of the status code is as follows:
