RFmxEVDO_CDAFetchUplinkSymbolEVM

int32 __stdcall RFmxEVDO_CDAFetchUplinkSymbolEVM (niRFmxInstrHandle instrumentHandle, char selectorString[], float64 timeout, float64* RMSSymbolEVM, float64* peakSymbolEVM, float64* RMSSymbolMagnitudeError, float64* RMSSymbolPhaseError, float64* meanSymbolPower, float64* frequencyError, float64* chipRateError);

Purpose

Fetches the modulation accuracy related measures for the configured measurement channel.

Parameters

Input
Name Type Description
instrumentHandle niRFmxInstrHandle Specifies the instrument session. The RFmx driver obtains this parameter from the RFmxEVDO_Initialize function.
selectorString char[] Specifies a selector string comprising of the signal name. If you do not specify the signal name, the default signal instance is used.
Examples:
""
"signal::sig1"
You can use the RFmxEVDO_BuildSignalString function to build the selector string.
timeout float64 Specifies the timeout for fetching the specified measurement. This value is expressed in seconds. Set this value to an appropriate time, longer than expected for fetching the measurement. A value of -1 specifies that the function waits until the measurement is complete.
RMSSymbolEVM float64* Returns the RMS symbol EVM of the configured measurement channel. This value is expressed as a percentage.
peakSymbolEVM float64* Returns the peak symbol EVM of the configured measurement channel. This value is expressed as a percentage.
RMSSymbolMagnitudeError float64* Returns the RMS symbol magnitude error of the configured measurement channel. This value is expressed as a percentage.
RMSSymbolPhaseError float64* Returns the RMS symbol phase error of the configured measurement channel. This value is expressed in degrees.
meanSymbolPower float64* Returns the mean symbol power of the configured measurement channel. This value is expressed in dB or dBm.
frequencyError float64* Returns the frequency error. This value is expressed in Hz.
chipRateError float64* Returns the chip rate error. This value is expressed in ppm.

Return Value

Name Type Description
status int32 Returns the status code of this operation. The status code either indicates success or describes an error or warning condition. Examine the status code from each call to an RFmx function to determine if an error has occurred.

To obtain a text description of the status code and additional information about the error condition, call the RFmxEVDO_GetError function.

The general meaning of the status code is as follows:

Value Meaning
0 Success
Positive Values Warnings
Negative Values Errors
