Attenuator hold—holding the power level fixed while adjusting the digital gain—ensures the analog path is not altered while the instrument is in the Generation state.

To configure attenuator hold, adjust the digital gain by completing the following steps:
  1. Configure the NI-RFSGPower Level (dB) property to the max desired output power level.
  2. Adjust the digital gain using the NI-RFSGDigital Gain (dB) property to reach the final desired output power level.
  3. Initiate generation.
  4. Adjust the digital gain to adjust the output power as desired.
