Synchronizing Devices in Multiple Chassis

Synchronizing PXIe-5645 modules in multiple chassis is similar to synchronizing devices in a single chassis.

  1. Phase-align the Reference Clock used by all devices across the multiple chassis.

    This may require you to use a system timing device.

  2. Use the PXIe-5645PFI 0 front panel connector to repeat the synchronized trigger from one chassis to the next.
