Removing the PXIe-4309
Detach the TB-4309 terminal block from the PXIe-4309 before removing the PXIe-4309 from the chassis.
Removing the TB-4309 Terminal Block
Notice The chassis can be powered
on or off when removing the TB-4309 terminal block.
- Power off any devices and circuits connected to the TB-4309 terminal block.
- Loosen the terminal block mounting screw located at the top of the terminal block
- Using a flathead screwdriver, raise the latch release to disengage the latch.

With the latch release raised, grasp the TB-4309
terminal block and pull it away from the PXIe-4309.

Removing the PXIe-4309 Module from the Chassis
Notice Do not remove the PXIe-4309 with the chassis power on or the module may be
damaged.
Note To maintain forced air cooling in the PXI
Express system, refer to the Maintain Forced-Air Cooling Note to Users
document.
- Power off the chassis.

Loosen the captive screws on the top and bottom of the PXIe-4309.
Notice Do not pull the front panel to remove the PXIe-4309. Doing so may cause module components to come into contact with adjacent modules and damage the modules.
- Pull the captive screws to unseat the PXIe-4309 and slowly slide the PXIe-4309 along the guides.
- Replace the filler panel in the empty slot.

Store the PXIe-4309 in an antistatic protective
bag.
