Configuring SystemLink Data, Workflows, and Dashboards

In PAconfigurator, you can upload DUTs and Test Procedures to SystemLink. SystemLink can then use the PAtools DUTs and Test Procedures in SystemLink Test Plans. To do so, first configure PAtools to interact with SystemLink.

Configure PAconfigurator to interact with SystemLink using Administration » SystemLink Configuration. Refer to Configuring PAtools to Interact with SystemLink in the PAtools User Manual for additional information about each of the following steps.

  1. Use SystemLink Data Configuration to select the SystemLink server and workspace.
  2. Use Workflows to add a SystemLink workflow.

    Select a workflow for use with one or more test procedure types. Each test procedure type might only have one workflow defined.

    Salt jobs on the system or Python notebooks in SystemLink can carry out execution workflow actions.

  3. Use Dashboards to add a dashboard.
    You can use the example dashboard that is available as a json file in GitHub in the following ways:
    • Use the dashboard as-is in SystemLink with your battery tests.
    • Use the dashboard as an example or as starter code to create a custom dashboard.
    To install the dashboard in SystemLink, follow the instructions in the SystemLink Grafana Dashboards for Battery Lab System GitHub repository. The GitHub repository also includes information about configuring PAtools to use the dashboard.
If you do not have access to the GitHub repository, work with your account representative for access credentials. Attempting to access the repository without proper credentials results in a 404 error.
