Configuring Test Stations for Battery Cells
To configure a test station for battery cells, you can start with a template test station. You can also configure a new test station in PAconfigurator.
To start with a template test station, create a duplicate of the template. Then, adjust the number of slots and their application types. The slots and application types must match the cycler channel configuration of your physical system. Refer to Battery Cell Application for more information about cycler channel configurations.
To configure a new test station, refer to Creating a New Test Station in the PAtools User Manual. The following additional considerations apply to configuring test stations for battery applications.
-
Add a Runtime System Slot entry for the main test.
-
For RTS number, enter an available runtime
system number.
The available runtime system you choose must be one that you configured on the PXI for this test station. Refer to Configuring a PXI Controller for more information about assigning runtime systems to a PXI.
- For Application Type, enter BattCell_MainTest_Application_Type.
-
For RTS number, enter an available runtime
system number.
-
Add the required number of slots for the battery cells.
- For RTS number, enter the same number you entered for the main test in step 1.
