User Interface
The Bus Monitor includes four user interface sections, as shown in the following figure and described below:

- Windows menu—Includes the Measurement, Settings, and Help menus.
- Tabs:
- Monitor—Displays the most recent network frame data.
- ID Logger—Displays historical network frame data in order of appearance.
- Statistics—Calculation of statistical network data.
- Signals—Displays the most recent signal data if a database has been assigned and signals are configured for displaying.
- Graph—Displays signal data as waveform charts.
- Transmit—Displays settings for sending frames on the bus.
- Tool bar—Allows quick access to commonly used operations.
- Status bar—Shows several measurement-related settings:
- Port Name
- Baud Rate
- Filter—Frames are filtered by ID.
- Listen Only—Interface does not write to the bus.
- Logging—Received frames are logged to disk.
- Termination—Internal bus termination is activated.
- Bus Load—Bus utilization (CAN only, located below the tool bar, next to the tabs).
