Short Name: Scrambler Seed
Property of niWLANAnalysis
Specifies the scrambler seed for combined signal demodulation. To reduce the test time, you must set the scrambler seed while generating a signal from the device under test (DUT).
The following table lists the valid values you must use for this property:
Scrambler Seed setting on DUT | Valid Value for the Scrambler Seed property | Comments | |
---|---|---|---|
During the Creation of the Reference Files | During OFDM Demod Measurement | ||
S | S | S or -1 | DUT scrambler seed is fixed for all WLAN packets to a particular value during both creation of reference files, and the OFDM Demod measurement. |
S i | S i | -1 | DUT scrambler seed changes from packet to packet. Scrambler seed for the received packet is estimated while performing the OFDM Demod measurement. |
S i | S | S | DUT scrambler seed changes from packet to packet during the creation of reference files. However, during the OFMD demod measurement, DUT scrambler seed is kept fixed. |
where S is the fixed seed value, and S i is the varying seed value.
