Description

Specifies or returns the 1st order priority assigned to the 802.1AS clock used by the time reference specified by activeItem. This attribute is used in the execution of the Best Master Clock algorithm (BMCA). This attribute can range from 0 to 255. A lower value increases the priority. The default value is 246.

  • This attribute is supported only on certain targets. Refer to Target Support for Timing Attributes and Functions to determine whether or not this attribute is supported on your target.
  • You must specify the time reference using the activeItem parameter when querying this attribute.
