Places the switch module in a quiescent state where it has minimal or no impact on the system to which it is connected. This node disconnects all channels, and any scan in progress is aborted.

Standard Error Behavior

Understanding Errors

If error in describes an error that had occurred before calling niSwitch Disable, this node still attempts to disable the switch. However, if the attempt fails, this node returns the error information that was passed in from error in.
