How can I determine which port is associated with COMx?

To determine which physical port is associated with COMx, complete the following steps:

1. Launch MAX.
2. Expand the My System directory by clicking the + next to the folder.
3. Expand the Devices and Interfaces directory by clicking on the + next to the folder. MAX lists your installed serial hardware under Devices and Interfaces.
4. Click your serial interface in the device tree. The right window displays information on what COM number is associated with each physical port on your serial interface.
