Hardware Overview

The NI-iDDS Instrument Node system can be customized for your sensor needs with an array of I/O modules.

cRIO System Hardware Components

The cRIO system includes the following general hardware components.

cRIO Controller

The cRIO controller interfaces with the instruments using NI device drivers, houses the system and supplies power, communication, and timing/synchronization for the NI-iDDS Instrument Node functions.

Counter Input Module

The frequency module provides counter/timer functionality for the system.
