In Frequency List output mode, the device generates a standard function using a list of frequencies you define. A frequency list is composed of steps, each one with a frequency/duration pair. Frequency lists are commonly used for frequency sweeps and frequency-shift-keying (FSK) applications.
Note
Refer to Features Supported to determine whether your device supports Frequency List output mode.
The following example shows a frequency list and the generated waveform when Single trigger mode is selected. The trigger mode affects the timing and behavior of the generation.
| Step | Frequency | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| 0 | 3.0 Hz | 1.0 s |
| 1 | 6.0 Hz | 0.9 s |
| 2 | 0.5 Hz | 0.75 s |
| 3 | 9.0 Hz | 1.1 s |
