NI 4065
The NI 4065 is a 6½ digit DMM for the PXI, PCI, PCI Express, and USB buses. For more detailed information about the NI 4065 specifications, refer to Related Documentation for the NI 4065 Specifications document.
Front Panel Connections
The PXI, PCI, and PCI Express front panels have four shrouded banana plug connectors and one 9-pin mini–circular DIN connector. The NI USB-4065 has five shrouded banana plug connectors on the front panel and one 9-pin mini–circular DIN connector on the back panel. The banana plug connectors are high-voltage, safety signal connectors. The 9-pin DIN connector labeled AUX I/O is a digital signal connector, which carries triggers and SCXI communication signals. For an illustration of the front panel connectors and wiring instructions, refer to NI 4065 Front Panel Connections.

Calibrating the NI 4065
Calibration maximizes the accuracy of a DMM. To ensure accuracy, you must perform calibration. NI recommends you calibrate annually.
Refer to the NI 4065 6½ Digit DMM Calibration Procedure at the NI Calibration Solutions Web site for information on externally calibrating the NI PXI/PCI/PCIe-4065. For information on calibrating the NI 4065 using Calibration Executive, refer to the NI Calibration Solutions Web site.
