Configure Custom VI - Periodic I/O Server Dialog Box

In the Create New I/O Server dialog box, select Custom VI - Periodic and click the Continue button to display the Enter IO Server Name dialog box. In the Enter IO Server Name dialog box, specify the I/O server name and click the OK button to display this dialog box. You also can right-click an existing periodic I/O server and select Edit I/O Server from the shortcut menu to display this dialog box.

Use this dialog box to launch the Custom VI-based Server - Periodic Wizard, to set initial values for the inputs in periodic I/O servers, or to edit an existing periodic I/O server configuration.

This dialog box contains the following components:

• Configuration name—Specifies the name of the configuration for the custom I/O server. You can have multiple configurations for each custom I/O server. The default name is the name of the VI converted to a custom I/O server.
• New—Launches the Custom VI-based Server - Periodic Wizard.
• Delete—Deletes the selected custom I/O server configuration.
• Published controls—Displays the published data items for the selected custom I/O server configuration. Select an item in the list and enter a value in the control that appears next to the list to set the initial value for that item. You can configure the initial values only for input values.
