Source:DC Current:Voltage Limit High
- Updated2025-04-18
- 2 minute(s) read
Specifies the maximum voltage, in volts, that the output can produce when generating the desired current on the specified channel(s).
This property is applicable only if the Compliance Limit Symmetry property is set to Asymmetric and the Output Function property is set to DC Current .
You must also specify a Voltage Limit Low to complete the asymmetric range.
Note
The channel must be enabled and the output relay must be connected for the specified limit to take effect. Refer to the
Output Enabled
property and the
Output Connected
property for more information about enabling the channel and connecting the output relay respectively.
Note NI-DCPower uses the terms "source" and "output". However, while sinking with electronic loads and SMUs these correspond to "sinking" and "input", respectively.
Note
Refer to
Supported Properties by Device
for information about supported devices.
Valid Values: [1% of Voltage Limit Range , Voltage Limit Range ]
- The range bounded by the limit high and limit low must include zero.
Note
The limit may be extended beyond the selected limit range if the
Overranging Enabled
property is set to TRUE.
Default Value: Refer to Supported Properties by Device for the default value by device.
