Source:Pulse Current:Pulse Voltage Limit
- Updated2025-04-18
- 1 minute(s) read
Specifies the pulse voltage limit, in volts, that the output cannot exceed when generating the desired pulse current on the specified channel(s) during the on phase of a pulse. Limit is specified as a positive value, but symmetric positive and negative limits are enforced simultaneously.
This property is applicable only if the Output Function property is set to Pulse Current and the Compliance Limit Symmetry property is set to Symmetric .
Note
The channel must be enabled for the specified pulse current limit to take effect. Refer to the
Output Enabled
property for more information about enabling the channel.
Note NI-DCPower uses the terms "source" and "output". However, while sinking with electronic loads and SMUs these correspond to "sinking" and "input", respectively.
Note
Refer to
Supported Properties by Device
for information about supported devices.
Valid Values: The valid values for this property are defined by the values you specify for the Pulse Voltage Limit Range property.
