Creates a reference to a buffer of continuous waveforms. Use this VI to create a buffer explicitly. Use the buffer reference to set custom properties of the buffer and to share a reference to the same data buffer between parallel code. Use the Buffer Node to set properties for the waveforms in the buffer.

error in describes error conditions that occur before this node runs. This input provides standard error in functionality.
buffer out returns a reference to a new buffer of continuous waveform data.
error out contains error information. This output provides standard error out functionality.
