Owning Palette: Sound and Vibration VIs
Use the Generation VIs to generate different types of single and multitone signals, function generator signals, noise signals, and chirp signals.
The VIs on this palette can return general LabVIEW error codes or specific sound and vibration error codes .
Refer to the labview\examples\Sound and Vibration directory for an example of using the Generation VIs.
| Palette Object | Description |
|---|---|
| SV Chirp Waveform | Generates a continuous chirp waveform. You can use the generated chirp waveform to perform continuous swept-sine measurements. |
| SV Configure Generator | Configures a user-defined test signal. Wire the outputs to SV Signal (waveform) VI to generate the test signal, or wire to SV Signal Property Node to configure additional parameters before wiring to the SV Signal (waveform) VI. |
| SV Signal (Waveform) | Generates a signal configured by the SV Configure Generator VI and SV Signal Property Nodes. When used in a loop, use a shift register to pass configuration and state contained in signal configuration from one iteration to the next. |
| SVT Pink Noise Waveform | Generates a continuous pink noise waveform. |
Use the SV Signal Property Node to configure properties of generated signals.
