Right-click the IP address or target name in the Device Tree of the Configure HW I/O Mappings dialog box and select Add Device»FPGA to display this dialog box.
You also can launch this dialog box by right-clicking a FPGA target in the Device Tree and selecting Device Properties.
Use this dialog box to configure properties of an FPGA target.
This dialog box includes the following components:
- FPGA Target—Use this tab to select the FPGA target that you want to use in a simulation.
- Select from Found Devices—Displays any FPGA targets available on the RT target.
- FPGA Target—Displays the FPGA targets associated with the found devices.
- Requery—Queries for FPGA targets on the RT target. You use this button when you have added an FPGA target and need to refresh the list of FPGA targets.
- Manually Specify—Displays an FPGA target you configured. You use the following controls to select a device name and device type.
- Device Name—Allows you to select a reconfigurable I/O (RIO) device name.
- Device Type—Allows you to select a device type.
- FPGA Bitfile—Specifies the FPGA bitfile, which defines the available I/O on the FPGA. Most FPGA targets include default bitfiles. You also can create a custom FPGA bitfile.
- Group Channels by Type—Groups input, output, analog, and digital channels by type so that they are easier to find.
- Select from Found Devices—Displays any FPGA targets available on the RT target.
- Options—Use this tab to specify PWM output values (Hz) and/or channel timeout values (ms).
