N Cycle Jitter VI
Owning Palette: Jitter VIs
Requires: Jitter Analysis Toolkit
Computes the differences in the amounts of jitter between cycles of a waveform, which indicates the change in jitter at different locations in the waveform.
This VI is similar to the Cycle-to-Cycle Jitter VI, except this VI can compute differences in jitter between cycles at a specific interval.

Nc specifies the cycle interval at which to compute differences in period jitter. For example, if Nc is 2, this VI subtracts the period jitter value for the first cycle from the value for the third cycle, the period jitter value for the second cycle from the value for the fourth cycle, and so on to compute the N cycle jitter sequence.

level crossings contains information about the locations of level crossings in the original waveform. You can use the Level Crossing VI to generate this cluster.

ref level crossings specifies information about the locations of level crossings in the reference clock waveform. You can use the Clock Recovery VIs to generate this cluster from a measured waveform.

error in describes error conditions that occur before this node runs. This input provides standard error in functionality.

N cycle jitter sequence returns the differences in period jitter between cycles at the interval you specify.
![]() |
N cycle jitter timestamps returns timing information about the waveform that allows you to identify the times at which measurements in the corresponding sequence occur.

error out contains error information. This output provides standard error out functionality. |
