Create New I/O Server Dialog Box

Requires: DSC Module or Real-Time Module

(DSC Module) Right-click My Computer or a project library name in the Project Explorer window and select New»I/O Server from the shortcut menu to display this dialog box.

(Real-Time Module) Right-click a Real-Time target or a project library name in the Project Explorer window and select New»I/O Server from the shortcut menu to display this dialog box.

Use this dialog box to create an I/O server.

(DSC Module) You can create on input change I/O servers, periodic I/O servers, data set marking I/O servers, Modbus I/O servers, Modbus Slave I/O servers, Alarm Printer I/O servers, EPICS Client I/O servers, EPICS Server I/O servers, and OPC Client I/O servers.

(Real-Time Module) You can create Modbus I/O servers, Modbus Slave I/O servers, EPICS Server I/O servers, and EPICS Client I/O servers.

This dialog box includes the following components:

• I/O Server Type—Contains a list of I/O servers you can create.
• Description—Displays a description of the I/O server you select from the I/O Server Type list.
• Continue—Displays the Configuration dialog box for the selected I/O server.
