- Getting Started with the LabVIEW Datalogging and Supervisory Control Module—Use this manual to familiarize yourself with some of the features that the DSC Module adds to LabVIEW.
- Measurement & Automation Explorer Help for Historical Data Viewer—Use this help file to learn how to use the Historical Data Viewer in Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX). You can use the Historical Data Viewer to view the data stored in any Citadel database. Select Tools»DSC Module»View Historical Data to open the Historical Data Viewer in MAX. You can use the Historical Data Viewer without programming any VIs in LabVIEW. You can access help topics about the Historical Data Viewer by selecting Help»Help Topics»Historical Data Viewer in MAX.
- Image Navigator Help—Use this help file to learn how to use the Image Navigator. The Image Navigator is a library of over 4,000 symbols for industrial automation including pumps, pipes, valves, tanks, mixers, motors, ducts, electrical symbols, flow meters, material handling, sensors, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), transmitters, and ISA symbols. You can use these industrial automation images to create front panels. Select Tools»DSC Module»Image Navigator to launch the Image Navigator. You can access help topics for the Image Navigator by selecting Help»Contents in the Image Navigator.
- NI Distributed System Manager Help—Use this help file to learn how to use the NI Distributed System Manager. Access the System Manager by launching LabVIEW and selecting Tools»Distributed System Manager. You can use the System Manager to monitor, configure, and acknowledge alarms. You also can use the System Manager to monitor and acknowledge events. You can access help topics about the System Manager by navigating to the National Instruments\Shared\System Manager\version number\help\English directory and opening sysman.chm.
- NI HyperTrend Help—This help file describes the NI HyperTrend control available with the DSC Module, NI Lookout, and VI Logger. Use the NI HyperTrend control to display data from an NI Citadel database and monitor live data. To launch this help file, right-click an NI HyperTrend control and select NI HyperTrend»Help from the shortcut menu.
- Alarm and Event Display Help—This help file describes the Alarm and Event Display control available with the DSC Module and NI Lookout. Use the Alarm and Event Display control to view live alarms and events. To launch this help file, right-click an Alarm and Event Display control and select AlertBrowser»Help from the shortcut menu.
- LabVIEW Datalogging and Supervisory Control Module Readme—Use this file to learn important last-minute information, including installation and upgrade issues, compatibility issues, changes from the previous version, and known issues with LabVIEW. Open this readme by navigating to the labview\readme directory and opening readme_DSC.html.
- LabVIEW Datalogging and Supervisory Control Module Example VIs—Refer to the labview\examples\lvdsc directory for example VIs that demonstrate common tasks using the DSC Module. You also can access these VIs by selecting Help»Find Examples from the pull-down menu and selecting Toolkits and Modules»Datalogging and Supervisory Control in the NI Example Finder window.
