Building an Application Using the DataFinder Toolkit

If you want to create an application with the DataFinder Toolkit, you need the following components:

• LabVIEW 2018 DataFinder Toolkit Run-Time—Contains libraries and files to connect to a DataFinder Desktop Edition or to a DataFinder Server Edition. Requires LabVIEW 2018 Run-Time Engine and optionally NI DataFinder Desktop Edition.

• LabVIEW 2018 Run-Time Engine—Contains libraries and other files necessary to execute LabVIEW 2018-built applications and shared libraries.

• NI DataFinder Desktop Edition 2018 (optional)—Component for mining and managing data from multiple sources and different formats for a single client. Installs "My DataFinder".

Note  LabVIEW can also select the components automatically. For applications with the DataFinder Toolkit, LabVIEW automatically selects the LabVIEW 2018 DataFinder Toolkit Run-Time, the LabVIEW 2018 Run-Time Engine, and the DataFinder Desktop Edition 2018.
