Use the Acquisition Configuration VIs to configure carrier frequency, IQ rate, triggers, the Reference clock and other properties for your acquisition operation.

Palette Object Description
ni5640R Configure Number of Samples

Configures the number of samples in a finite operation or configures the device to continuously acquire (if ni5640R session is an acquisition session) or generate (if ni5640R session is a generation session) samples.

ni5640R Configure IQ Carrier Frequency

Configures the IQ carrier frequency of the IF signal for the acquisition session (if ni5640R session is an acquisition session) or the generation session (if ni5640R session is a generation session) you pass to this VI.

ni5640R Configure IQ Rate

Configures the rate at which the device samples IQ values. The digital filter passband is 0.4 multiplied by the IQ rate. The IQ rate is coerced to the next highest value that the device is capable of.

Note  Any frequency content should be at most 0.4 times the actual IQ rate. When generating, having any signal higher than 0.4 times the actual IQ rate could cause aliasing or numerical overflows.
ni5640R Configure Channel Enabled

Specifies which channels are enabled or disabled for the acquisition session (if ni5640R session is an acquisition session) or the generation session (if ni5640R session is a generation session) you pass to this VI. You must call this VI prior to beginning an acquisition or generation.

ni5640R Configure Ref Clock

Configures the Reference clock.
