Recording a Script

Use the DIAdem SCRIPT recording mode to automatically record sequences in a script. You can then repeat these sequences when you run the script. To record a script, complete the following steps:

  1. Select the DIAdem SCRIPT panel.

  2. Select Script»Enable Recording Mode.

  3. Enter an author and a comment.

  1. Click OK.

  2. Execute the sequence you want in DIAdem. For example, load data and generate a report.

Note  The green symbol in the status bar means that the recording mode is activated.
Note  Click <Ctrl-Shift-C> in a dialog box to record the assignment of values to variables.
  1. Select Script»Disable Recording Mode. DIAdem displays the recorded script in the script editor.
