Editing a Formula Channel in the Data Portal

Use formula channels to perform basic calculations with data channels. To edit a formula channel, complete the following steps:

1. Open the Data Portal.

2. Select the formula channel you want to edit.

3. Under Advanced Properties, select the Calculation property.

4. Click ... to the right of the formula. Depending on the type of formula, the Edit Formula Channel or Edit Calculation Channel dialog box opens.

3. Edit the formula.

4. Click OK.

DIAdem updates the formula channel and calculates the values. If the channels used in the formula change, click the Update Values button to recalculate the calculation channels.
