Executing a Text Search
Use the quick search in DIAdem NAVIGATOR to search for text in the search areas. DIAdem browses through files, groups, and channels to find the specified text. For example, to find the Data string, complete the following steps:

Select the DIAdem NAVIGATOR panel.

Open the DataFinder function group.

Click Open DataFinder.

Select a DataFinder.

Click OK. DIAdem NAVIGATOR opens the selected DataFinder in the browser.

Enter the text Data in the entry field. Ensure that the Quick Search is enabled.

Click Search.
DIAdem displays the results in a search result list. You can drag and drop the search results into the Data Portal.
