Determining the Characteristic Statistical Values of a Channel
Use Statistics to calculate characteristic statistic values and run classifications. For example, to calculate the extreme values and the arithmetic mean of a channel, complete the following steps:
-
Select the DIAdem ANALYSIS panel.
-
Open the Statistics function group.
-
Click Descriptive Statistics.
-
Select the channels to be analyzed.
-
Click All Off on the Characteristic Values 1 tab to remove all ticks on this tab.
-
Select Minimum, Maximum, and Arithmetic mean.
-
Click All Off on the Characteristic Values 2 tab to remove all ticks on this tab.
-
Click Store results in channels on the Result Storage tab.
-
Click OK. For every selected characteristic value DIAdem creates a result channel in the Data Portal.
