Determining the Characteristic Statistical Values of a Channel

Use Statistics to calculate characteristic statistic values and run classifications. For example, to calculate the extreme values and the arithmetic mean of a channel, complete the following steps:

  1. Select the DIAdem ANALYSIS panel.

  2. Open the Statistics function group.

  3. Click Descriptive Statistics.

  4. Select the channels to be analyzed.

  5. Click All Off on the Characteristic Values 1 tab to remove all ticks on this tab.

  6. Select Minimum, Maximum, and Arithmetic mean.

  7. Click All Off on the Characteristic Values 2 tab to remove all ticks on this tab.

  8. Click Store results in channels on the Result Storage tab.

  9. Click OK. For every selected characteristic value DIAdem creates a result channel in the Data Portal.
