My DataFinder - Reset
Use this dialog box to reset the index of the My DataFinder DataFinder or to reset the configuration of this DataFinder to the default values.
Settings
Reset index | If you click the Execute button, DIAdem resets the index of the My DataFinder DataFinder. The DataFinder then reindexes the files. Use this function only if the DataFinder does not index the files in the search areas and therefore does not display the groups and channels, or if a valid query does not return any results. |
Reset index and configuration | If you click Execute, DIAdem resets the index and the configuration of the My DataFinder DataFinder to the default values. The DataFinder then reindexes the files. Use this function only if the DataFinder symbol no longer appears in the task bar or if the top Execute button does not solve the problem. |
![]() | Note If you reset the index or if you reset the DataFinder to the default configuration, the DataFinder must re-index all the data in the search areas so you can execute a successful search. Data indexing may take some time. |
