Installing a Ferrite on the USB Host Port Cables
You must install a ferrite around all USB cables connected to the USB host ports to ensure that the cRIO-903x meets all EMC standards applicable to your country.
What to Use
- Ferrite (781233-02), included with the cRIO-903x
- USB cables
What to Do
Install the ferrite on the USB cables, as shown in the following figure.
- Pass the cables through the ferrite, leaving 50 mm to 75 mm (2 in. to 3 in.) between the ferrite and the end of the cables. The ferrite can accommodate up to two USB cables depending on the diameter of each cable.
- Close the ferrite around the cables.
