Adding Installer Shortcuts to the Source Installer Library

To add a shortcut to an installer to the library, navigate to the Source Installer Library view and click Add Installer Shortcut.

Adding a shortcut to an installer does not move or modify the original installer. You can delete this shortcut from the library without deleting the original installer.

To prevent build errors, ensure the location of the original installers is accessible when you want to create a batch installer. If you move the original installer to a different location, NI Batch Installer Builder will not be able to locate it. You must delete and re-add the shortcut.
