Complete the following steps before beginning this repair procedure:
  1. Power off the RMX-10102 by flipping the main disconnect branch breaker to off.
  2. If your RMX-10102 utilizes a UPS to provide backup power to Phase 1 powered components, press the power button on the UPS to power it down.
  3. Disconnect the RMX-10102 from facility power.

  • #2 Phillips head screwdriver, 1.30 N · m (11.5 lb. · in.)
  • #2 Phillips head screwdriver, 1.92 N · m (17.0 lb. · in.)
  • T10 Torx head screwdriver, 0.76 N · m (6.7 lb. · in.)
  • T25 Torx head screwdriver, 2.49 N · m (22.0 lb. · in.)
  • T8 Torx head screwdriver, 0.76 N · m (6.7 lb. · in.)
  1. Remove the left side panel of the RMX-10102 using the 3 mm hex wrench.
  2. Disconnect all cables connected to the RMX-10151 Single-Phase power distribution unit (PDU).
  3. Unscrew the ground cable ring lug from the hinge bracket using the 1.30 N · m #2 Phillips head screwdriver.

  4. If necessary, create easier access to the RMX-10151 Single-Phase PDU by swinging out the hinge bracket using the 1.92 N · m #2 Phillips head screwdriver to unscrew the two panel fasteners.
  5. If necessary, unscrew the AUX DC PDU communication cable ring lugs from the RMX-10151 Single-Phase PDU using the T10 Torx head screwdriver.
  6. Unscrew the four screws that mount the RMX-10151 Single-Phase PDU to the top and bottom mount brackets using the T25 Torx head screwdriver.


  7. Remove the RMX-10151 Single-Phase PDU from the RMX-10102.
  8. Unscrew the ten screws securing the cover to the RMX-10151 Single-Phase PDU using the T8 Torx head screwdriver and remove the cover.


  9. Locate the fuse to be replaced on the circuit card assembly.
  10. Replace the fuse on the circuit card assembly using the new fuse kit.
  11. Screw in the ten screws to reinstall the cover on the RMX-10151 Single-Phase PDU using the T8 Torx head screwdriver.
  12. Position the RMX-10151 Single-Phase PDU in the RMX-10102 by aligning the two pilot pins at the top and bottom mount brackets.
  13. Screw in the four screws to mount the RMX-10151 Single-Phase PDU to the top and bottom mount brackets using the T25 Torx head screwdriver.
  14. If necessary, screw in the AUX DC PDU communication cable ring lugs to the RMX-10151 Single-Phase PDU using the T10 Torx head screwdriver.
  15. If necessary, swing the hinge bracket back to its original position and screw in the two panel fasteners using the 1.92 N · m #2 Phillips head screwdriver.
  16. Screw in the ground cable ring lug to the hinge bracket using the 1.30 N · m #2 Phillips head screwdriver.
  17. Reconnect all cables to the RMX-10151 Single-Phase PDU.
  18. Reinstall the left side panel of the RMX-10102 using the 3 mm hex wrench.
Once installation of the new fuse is complete, you can reconnect facility power to the RMX-10102 and power on the rack.
